Measuring Instructions & Dog Collar Sizes
Determining the correct collar size for your dog is absolutely essential to your dog's safety, comfort, and well being.
- The dog collar should not be loose enough to slip over your dog's head, allowing him to break free or even chew it.
- However, the dog collar should never be so tight that it restricts your dog's breathing or causes coughing.
- Make sure to check your puppy's collar regularly as he or she grows.
To assist you in choosing the right size collar for your dog, we have provided our Measuring Instructions & Dog Collar Sizes.

Use a cloth measuring tape to measure around your dog's neck.
- Slide two fingers between the measuring tape and the neck.
- Compare that number (your dog's neck size) to the size chart below
Our custom, personalized dog collars, fabric dog collars, rhinestone dog collars, and other dog collars come in six different sizes. You can also provide us with measurements for your own custom sizing.
