Measuring Instructions & Dog Collar Size Chart

Determining the correct collar size for your dog is absolutely essential to your dog's safety, comfort, and well being.

The dog collar should not be loose enough to slip over your dog's head, allowing him to break free or even chew it.
However, the dog collar should never be so tight that it restricts your dog's breathing or causes coughing.
Make sure to check your puppy's collar regularly as he or she grows, as collars that are too tight can cause serious chafing that can lead to injury, infection, and even death.

Use a measuring tape to measure around your dog's neck.

Slide two fingers between the measuring tape and the neck.
Compare that number (your dog's neck size) to the size chart below.
Enter the correct Order Size into the order form for your chosen collar design or custom personalized collar.

Size Chart:

For the plastic snap buckles: Measure your dog's neck as described above but please enter that number into the order form (in addition to the order size).

That way we can make sure the embroidery work will not be covered up by any part of the plastic buckle adjuster.
